Terms & Conditions
Updated August 14, 2026
These Terms & Conditions describe the rules that apply when you browse the plowshareforge website, place an order, or use our customer-service features. They are intended to work together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and any product-specific information shown before purchase.
1. Scope and seller information
These Terms & Conditions govern purchases and use of the plowshareforge website operated by Polar Lens Ltd., 1911 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M3N 2K1, Canada. By placing an order or using transactional features on the site, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. Product information and availability
We aim to describe frames, materials, dimensions, colours, lens compatibility, and other relevant product details accurately. Screen settings and photography can affect how colour or texture appears, and minor manufacturing variations may occur. Product availability may change before an order is finalized.
Prescription-ready frames and prescription lens services depend on receiving the information needed to complete the selected configuration. We may contact you if prescription details, measurements, or other information are incomplete or unclear.
3. Prices, shipping, and order review
Prices on this Canadian website are shown in Canadian dollars using the dollar symbol. Unless a page states otherwise, the price shown for a product is the retail price presented to the customer; any applicable delivery charge is shown in the cart or order summary before final submission. Standard shipping is complimentary on qualifying orders of $275 or more.
Before submitting an order, you are responsible for reviewing the product selection, quantity, delivery details, and total shown. If a material pricing or product-description error is identified before fulfilment, we may contact you with corrected information and, where required, provide the option to proceed or cancel.
4. Order acceptance and payment
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the listed products. An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or begin fulfilment, subject to product availability and successful completion of applicable payment steps. We may decline or cancel an order where there is a payment issue, suspected fraud, product unavailability, or an obvious material error.
Payment information must be accurate and you must be authorized to use the selected payment method. Payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Delivery
Delivery timing is an estimate unless a specific commitment is stated in writing. Stock orders and customized eyewear may have different preparation times. You are responsible for providing a complete Canadian delivery address and for checking delivery information supplied during checkout.
Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable right you may have under applicable consumer protection law regarding delayed delivery, non-delivery, or cancellation.
6. Returns, refunds, and customized products
Our voluntary 30-day return policy for eligible stock items is described in the Returns & Refunds Policy. Prescription lenses, personalized items, altered products, and certain hygiene-sensitive or made-to-order items may be subject to exclusions or different conditions where permitted by law.
Any statutory cancellation, refund, or remedy rights that apply to your purchase continue to apply and are not replaced by our voluntary policy.
7. Acceptable use of the website
You may use the site for lawful personal shopping and information purposes. You must not interfere with site security, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent payment or identity information, scrape or reproduce substantial site content without permission, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
Website text, layout, graphics, branding elements, and other content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise indicated. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with shopping, but no ownership rights are transferred to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from use of the website or delays outside our reasonable control. This limitation does not exclude liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded, limited, or waived.
Product care, fit, and prescription suitability depend on individual circumstances. Where professional eye-care advice is appropriate, website information should not be treated as a substitute for an examination or advice from a qualified professional.
10. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, such as carrier disruptions, severe weather, labour disruption, infrastructure outages, government action, or supplier interruption. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material delays and resume performance when feasible.
11. Governing law and consumer rights
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without depriving consumers in another province or territory of mandatory protections that apply to them. Any dispute should first be raised with us using the contact details published on the site so the parties can attempt to resolve it directly.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms for future transactions when business practices or legal requirements change. The version published when an order is placed will generally govern that transaction. Questions may be directed to Polar Lens Ltd., 1911 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M3N 2K1, Canada, email [email protected], phone +14166357852.
