Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy describes our voluntary return process for eligible plowshareforge products and explains how it interacts with mandatory consumer rights that may apply in Canada. It should be read with the product description and Terms & Conditions that applied to your purchase.
1. Voluntary 30-day return policy
Eligible stock eyewear may be returned within 30 days after delivery if it is unworn, undamaged, and returned with the original case, accessories, and packaging where reasonably possible. This voluntary policy is in addition to any mandatory rights that apply under consumer protection law.
2. Items with different return conditions
Prescription lenses, customized lens work, personalized products, altered frames, and made-to-order items may not qualify for a change-of-mind return once production has begun, except where required by law or where the product is defective, damaged, or not as agreed. Items that show wear, misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized alteration may also be ineligible for a voluntary return.
3. How to start a return
Before sending a product back, contact us at [email protected] or +14166357852 with your name, order information, the item you want to return, and the reason for the request. We will provide practical return instructions and tell you what information should accompany the parcel. Do not send products to an address other than the return instructions we provide unless we specifically direct you to do so.
4. Return shipping
If a return is requested because you changed your mind and the item otherwise qualifies under our voluntary policy, return shipping costs may be your responsibility unless we agree otherwise. If an item arrived damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, contact us promptly so we can assess an appropriate remedy and, where applicable, arrange return shipping.
5. Inspection and refunds
Returned items are inspected after receipt. When a refund is approved, it is issued to the original payment method unless another method is required or agreed. Processing time can vary by financial institution after the refund is initiated. Original delivery charges may be refundable where required by law or where the return results from our error; otherwise, optional or upgraded shipping charges may not be refundable.
6. Exchanges
Where stock is available, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund for eligible items. Price differences, additional lens work, or shipping charges may apply to the replacement order and will be disclosed before the exchange is finalized.
7. Consumer rights
Retailers in Ontario are not generally required to offer change-of-mind returns, but mandatory rights can arise in circumstances such as misleading representations, certain problems with an internet agreement, non-delivery, or other situations covered by applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
